Connie Crow led our group today on this five mile ramble with 300 feet of elevation gain. Starting from Short Sands Beach we continued through old growth forest to a viewpoint overlooking the ocean, Smuggler Cove, and in sight of Neahkahnie Mountain. Despite driving through rain to get to the trailhead, we had beautiful weather.
