Lookout Mountain

Elaine McWilliams scheduled a hike for the Tryon Creek Daytrippers, to Lookout Mountain, using the Fret Creek route. She suggested that anyone who wanted to get to the top the easy way could hike up from High Prairie. Three of us decided to do that, for various reasons: Tom Stipe, Jane Halling, and Omar Bose. It was a beautiful day, the flowers were plentiful, and there were hikers everywhere.

The fires on the side of Mount Hood were interesting to look at, too, although we surely would rather not have them there!
