Ray Hayden
was responsible for taking the Lake Oswego Hikers on this fascinating
loop route from a point near Jewett Creek (at about 45°44.4'N and 121°28.5'W),
around and up to our viewpoint and lunch place near the top of Burdoin
Mountain. The terrain was varied-- uphill most of the morning to
a high point about 2000' higher than the trailhead, and steeply downhill
in the afternoon. Overcast skies kept the temperatures down a bit.
A few of us
had fun trying the swing someone had installed at an overlook. It
was a great hike, Ray. Thanks!
