Boulder Ridge

June 19, 2003
This hike was lead by Linda Gray for the Lake Oswego Hikers.  We began at the Wildwood trailhead and continued to a viewpoint overlooking Boulder Creek with McIntyre Ridge as the background.  Unfortunately the same cloud cover that kept us cool limited our vistas.  I don't think the sun visited us at all after we left the Mount Hood Information Center.

The forest was fine, with trees in varied states of development.  We enjoyed the few "old timers" that are still standing.  Rhododendrons were in bloom; blue flags also.  And quite a number of other wildflowers, most of which would not hold still for my camera.

Thanks, Linda, for a fine hike,
