    It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day--a great time to be outdoors!  Our winter has been so very warm, though, that the snowpack left much to be desired. On the other hand, it made the "Terrible Traverse" much easier.

    Pat Ahern does a fine job of leading these outings.

    [Snow pictures, I find, are often difficult to deal with because of the extreme contrast in lighting.  But then, you take what comes!]  You will enjoy the pictures Wes Hayward has posted from this outing.  They are on his website:
